Crowd & Co is delighted to announce that Vivienne Storey, a respected law firm business development manager and strategic advisor, and Xan Colman, lawyer and acclaimed artistic director, have joined the Crowd & Co team.

For the past ten years, Vivienne has worked in law firms assisting with strategy and growth, focusing on long-term client acquisition and creating business development-focused cultures. She has extensive experience in strategy development and implementation, targeted business development and niche marketing. Vivienne has joined Crowd & Co to enable lawyers and their clients access to new technology- enabled services and to help facilitate the changing legal landscape.

Xan is a qualified lawyer with corporate and community sector experience. He also has fifteen years’ experience leading performing arts companies, festivals and community development programs. Xan is himself an early adopter of flexible professional work practices. He brings considerable experience in interdisciplinary network development and engagement strategies to assist the

Crowd & Co community to fully realise the marketplace’s potential.

Vivienne said, “I’m very happy to be joining the Crowd & Co team. It’s fantastic to be involved in a young company that is changing the way the legal market does business. In my short time with the team, I am already seeing the “light bulb” moment among law firms I speak to. Access to the Crowd & Co marketplace is changing the way they’re thinking about legal resourcing. This is FutureLaw and all innovative businesses and firms will want to be part of it.”

Xan added, “The future successes of our society are going to be driven by collaboration. Collaboration requires the wherewithal to think outside one’s box, the nimbleness to step beyond one’s silo. Minds do their best meeting in the interstices. Platforms that make this easier for people are in short supply, and ever more important. I’m excited to be helping to build one with Crowd & Co.”

Jarred Hardman commented, “We are very pleased that Vivienne and Xan have joined us at Crowd & Co. Their considerable cumulative experience supplements our team well, and will enable us to move faster and more nimbly in this dynamic market. We’re already seeing an escalation in lawyers joining the marketplace and law firms posting contract work on our platform. As we continue to roll out new tools for our marketplace members, we predict that this growth will only strengthen. At Crowd & Co, we believe that FutureLaw is to be found in new collaborative technologies that are building partnerships across the legal industry.”
