The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Tokyo (KBRI Tokyo), the Indonesian Ministry of Trade, the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), and SSEK Indonesian Legal Consultants are hosting a high-level webinar for Japanese companies and investors doing business or interested in doing business in Indonesia.
 
This complimentary webinar, “Indonesia - Japan Trade & Investment Post Covid-19: A New Frontier,” is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, beginning at 1pm (Jakarta) / 3pm (JST).
 
Indonesia’s Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mahendra Siregar, is scheduled to appear as an honored guest speaker, and Tri Purnajaya, the Chargés d'Affaires ad interim at KBRI Tokyo, is scheduled to give the keynote speech. There are also scheduled speakers from the Ministry of Trade, BKPM, the Tanjung Kelayang Special Economic Zone, SSEK Indonesian Legal Consultants and Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.
 
Scheduled topics include the latest on the Indonesia – Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (IJEPA), the potential for manufacturing investment in Indonesia, including government incentives/facilities available to investors, opportunities in Indonesia’s digital economy, and updates on the investment regulatory framework in Indonesia.
